Wordle Solver
Greens, yellows and greys in, every remaining word out.
How The Ranking Works
The list is sorted by how much a guess would tell you, not by how likely it is to be the answer. A word made of letters that appear in many of the remaining candidates splits the list fastest, so guessing it leaves you with fewer options whether it is right or wrong. That is usually a better third guess than a word you happen to like the look of.
One Thing That Trips People Up
A letter can be grey in one square and still be in the word. If you guessed a word with two Es and only one came back coloured, the second E is grey but E is still in the answer. Put it in the yellow or green box and leave it out of the greys, or the filter will throw away the right answer.
